Overview Of Davidsonville, Maryland
Situated less than 35 miles outside of Baltimore, the small exurb of Davidsonville, Maryland is an unincorporated community. It is often categorized as being semi-rural with its fair share of farmland and suburban developments. Steeped in history, Davidsonville, Maryland was originally a Native American settlement, part of an Algonquin-speaking tribe. After European colonists arrived, the Native American tribes dispersed, leaving the area mainly a European settlement in the 18th century onwards.
The area receives plenty of rainfall and snowfall each year, totaling about 109 days per year of precipitation. Summers can average temperatures of over 88 degrees Fahrenheit while on average, the community receives about 12.5 inches of snowfall every year.
